LAMP program
We are committed to the continued development of an inclusive, harmonious and cohesive multicultural community. Council is involved in a number of Multicultural projects within the region including the annual Multicultural Festival.
Council is involved in the Local Multicultural Partnerships (LAMP) Program. It involves partnership arrangements between the State and Local Government to promote access, participation and cohesion in our multicultural society.
Welcome kit
The “Welcome to the Lockyer Valley” Welcome Kit is available for new residents from cultural and linguistic backgrounds (migrants).
The Kit includes all of the information to help get you and your family settled into our community including how to apply for an Australian Drivers Licence, applying for a job, finding a place to live and becoming an Australian Citizen
