Lockyer Valley Regional Youth Council
The Lockyer Valley Regional Youth Council (LVRYC) is a youth-driven forum that suggests ideas, voices issues and concerns, and promotes community spirit and a sense of belonging for all young people in our region.
The LVRYC exists to secure a link between the youth and the Lockyer Valley Regional Council. The Youth Council is a team of young people who represent youth, communicate and liaise with the community and organise projects and events in order to improve the status of all young people and provide them with greater opportunities.
What do we do?
- Represent youth in the Lockyer Valley
- Promote community spirit and a sense of belonging amoung young people
- Develop and run programs to improve the status of all young people
- Organise youth events such as the Big Day In Create opportunities for young people to attend forums on other parts of the State & country
