Local businesses are invited to attend a meet and greet with the operators of the Lockyer Valley’s new prison, Serco.
Council’s Mayor Steve Jones said the evening would be an opportunity for local businesses to establish themselves as a potential supplier for Serco.
“It really is a great opportunity for Lockyer Valley businesses to introduce their products and services to Serco,” he said.
“I would encourage all business owners to come along and make the most of this fantastic networking opportunity.”
The meet and greet will be held at the Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre on Monday 31 October from 6pm.
Please RSVP (for catering purposes) to Helen McCraw on email hmcraw@lvrc.qld.gov.au or phone 07 5462 0354 by Friday 28 October.
The prison is set to open in January next year.
