Amendment of Local Laws

Council is currently reviewing two of its subordinate local laws. Amendments are currently proposed to Subordinate Local Law No. 2 (Animal Management) 2011 and Subordinate Local Law No. 5 (Parking) 2011.   

Public Consultation
Written submissions by any person in support of, or objecting to, a proposed subordinate local law are invited starting on 15 November 2017 and ending on 6 December 2017 inclusive.

During the consultation period Council will make available for inspection and purchase at Council’s public offices at 26 Railway Street, Gatton and 9 Spicer Street, Laidley a copy of the proposed
subordinate local law.

These documents are also available below:

Submissions

Submissions must be received on or before 5pm on 6 December 2017 stating:

(a) the grounds of the submission; and
(b) the facts and circumstances relied on in support of the grounds.

Submissions can be lodged:

(a) by email to cbischoff@lvrc.qld.gov.au
(b) by mail to PO Box 82, Gatton Qld 4343; and
(c) in person at Council’s office at 26 Railway Street, Gatton.

Submissions should be clearly marked “Submission – Proposed Subordinate Local Law”.
