​​Audit and Risk Management Committee

 

The Audit and Risk Management Committee is an independent advisory Committee to Council and has been established to assist in the effective conduct of Council’s responsibilities for good governance. 

 

The role of the Committee is to provide independent assurance and assistance to Council on its risk, control and compliance frameworks and Council’s external accountability responsibilities as prescribed in the Local Government Act 2009 and its Regulations.
