You can now check fuel supply and pricing through Council’s Disaster Dashboard.
Just head to disaster.lvrc.qld.gov.au and select ‘Fuel Supplies’ in the top right corner.
Under the Queensland Government Fuel Price Reporting Scheme, fuel retailers must report price changes within 30 minutes. The information shown is automatically sourced from the Queensland Government Fuel Prices API.
Anzac Day services across the Lockyer Valley
Saturday 25 April marks the 111th anniversary of the first major military action fought by Australian and New Zealand forces during the First World War.
Residents are encouraged to commemorate the men and women who fought for our country by attending a local Anzac Day service.
All current and ex-service men and women, people representing ex-service personnel, schools, sporting and community clubs, are invited to participate in any of the marches. It is preferred uniforms are worn.

SES Controller needed!
South West Queensland SES is currently seeking applications for a Lockyer Valley Local Controller, who can provide leadership and support to a diverse volunteer team.
Applications close midnight on Saturday, 2 May 2026.

Write a letter at the QTM for Anzac Day
Kids can pay tribute this Anzac Day by taking part in a letter‑writing activity at the Queensland Transport Museum.
As part of the museum’s new exhibition honouring the Anzacs, kids can visit the activity centre to write and “post” a message of gratitude to our veterans.
Every letter is collected by staff and shared with veterans’ organisations including RSLs, Legacy and other association, showing our community’s collective appreciation in the lead‑up to Anzac Day.
The Queensland Transport Museum at the Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre is open 9am–4pm daily and will also open on Anzac Day from 12pm–4pm.
RADF applications close tomorrow!
If you’re interested in delivering arts and cultural projects in the Lockyer Valley – get your application in now for funding to support your projects through the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF), a partnership between the Queensland Government and Lockyer Valley Regional Council.
This fund is designed to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland. Round 3 for 2025-26 is currently open for applications and closes 10am, Friday 24 April 2026.
