Job seekers - The Australian Government has announced more payments and streamlined claims for people affected by coronavirus. The temporary Coronavirus Supplement will be an extra $550 a fortnight payment on top of your income support payment.

Electricity relief - The Queensland Government is providing a $300 Million Household Utility Assistance Package to all Queenslanders during the Covid-19 crisis.​


Volunteering and Assistance

Queensland Government - The Care Army has been set up to protect and support Queenslanders who are most at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic in ways that maintain social distancing. 

Community Recovery hotline - 1800 173 349 - To assist people who have been advised to quarantine at home and have no other mechanisms for support.

Training Opportunities​

TAFE Queensland​ - Short-term, fee-free courses for eligible Queenslanders. Access online skill sets and micro-credentials in food service, community care, health support, customer engagement, digital literacy and cyber security.

Marcus Mission - Men aged 18 and over can build skills, knowledge, and connections with their families, friends, and communities.​ ​​​​​

National Coronavirus helpline - 1800 020 080 - Call this line if you are seeking information on coronavirus. The line operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
