Shopping locally is a powerful thing to do, and changing where you spend your money can make a big difference.
If every Lockyer Valley resident over the age of 12 spent just $10 a week locally instead of outside the region, our local economy would grow by $26 million over just one year.
This economic boost would create more jobs, new business would open and existing ones would grow and prosper.

Everyone benefits when we all do our bit.

To encourage local shopping, the Lockyer Valley Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Tourism sponsors the EFTPOS based Lockyer Valley Gift Card. Buy goods at participating local stores within the Lockyer Valley region using a Lockyer Valley Gift Card. Lockyer Valley Gift Cards are available online or in store; pick one up from the Gatton Visitor Information Centre at Lake Apex.
