Seniors Week

Seniors Week is an opportunity to celebrate our community's young-at-heart and the invaluable contributions they make to our community.

This year we are excited to provide a range of new events, including two bus tours to Government House, the return of the always-popular Gatton and Laidley Luncheons, as well as Tai Chi and line dancing sessions.

Bookings for this year’s Seniors Week activities will open on Wednesday 10 July at 9am with programs available now so you can start planning your week. You can pick one up from the Gatton Council Office, Laidley Library and Customer Service Centre, Gatton Library and Lake Apex Visitor Information Centre.

Completed booking forms can be left at the same locations. Council is proud to once again offer a range of events and activities throughout Seniors Week, which is all about promoting inclusiveness and providing an opportunity for seniors to connect with people of all backgrounds and ages.

So mark it in your diary now – bookings open Wednesday 10 July by phoning 5466 3426 or book in person at the Lake Apex Visitor Information Centre, Monday to Sunday from 9am - 4pm.

Seniors Week events are open to residents of the Lockyer Valley aged 50 years and over.
