Request for Development Information
You can request a range of development information from Council. This information can be helpful if you are intending to purchase a property or lodge a development application with Council. The information available is outlined in the table below. Fees are payable based on the information requested.

| Flood Information | Flood Information including Defined Flood Level (DFL), flood depth, velocity and flood hazard data, if available, for a nominated location and relevant requirements of the Planning Scheme (if proposed development is identified). |
| Stormwater | Plan of any stormwater main or drain within or adjacent to the property, including approved connection point and any limitations on capacity. |
| Zoning and overlays | Details of zoning and the following overlays for the land: - Steep land overlay - Bushfire hazard overlay - Biodiversity overlay - Cultural heritage overlay (including details of any Local heritage place) |
| Current use of the land | - A list of current development approvals. Approval documents for a specific building or a specific use of the land. |
| Copies of Certificates for Building works | - Compliance certificates (Form 15) for building design or specification. - Final inspection certificates (Form 21) for single detached class 1a and class 10 buildings on the land. - Certificates of classification for buildings on the land. |
| Drainage plans | - Plan of sanitary drain in the property. - Hydraulic services plans for existing commercial buildings. |
| Show cause notices and Enforcement notices | Details of any current and/or relevant show cause and enforcement notices relating to the land. |
| Proposed development of land | Details of any approvals required for proposed development, including requirements of the Planning Scheme for any Accepted development that may be relevant, e.g. setbacks, car parking spaces, water storage tanks. |
This information can be requested by completing a Request for Development Information form. Council's preferred method of lodgement is via email to mailbox@lvrc.qld.gov.au. Alternatively, requests can be lodged at Gatton or Laidley Customer Service Centres, or sent in the post to Lockyer Valley Regional Council, PO Box 82, Gatton QLD 4343.
For multiple properties, a separate request is needed for each individual allotment (Lot/Plan). Fees payable are per lot.
Council allows 10 business days for responding to requests for development information.
