Making a submission
Any person may make a written submission about any aspect of the four Draft Planning Scheme Policies during the public consultation period.
Submissions must be received by Council on or before 20 December 2023.
In order to constitute a ‘properly made submission’ under the Planning Act 2016, the submission must:
- be in writing and signed by each person making the submission (unless made electronically);
- state the name and residential or business address of each person making the submission;
- state one postal or electronic address for service relating to the submission for each person making the submission;
- state the grounds of the submission, and the facts and circumstances relied on in support of the grounds; and
- be received by Lockyer Valley Regional Council on or before 20 December 2023.
Submissions can be lodged:
- by post to Chief Executive Officer, Lockyer Valley Regional Council, PO Box 26, Gatton Qld 4343
- by email to planningscheme@lvrc.qld.gov.au
- in person at Council’s Customer Contact Centres at 26 Railway Street, Gatton and 6 Spicer Street, Laidley.
