Register now for Welcome Baby Celebration

Lockyer Valley Regional Council is putting the call out for all new mums and dads to register their new additions for the upcoming Welcome Baby Celebration.

Council’s Mayor, Tanya Milligan is encouraging local parents to consider registering for this special event for little ones born during 2024.

“Friends and families are invited to celebrate the newest community members at what has become a proud tradition at our annual Welcome Baby Celebration.

“If you have recently welcomed a new baby into your family, we encourage you to register and join in on this great celebration with family and friends,” Mayor Milligan said.

The celebration, to be held at the Gatton Library on Saturday 15 March, will bring the community together for a special morning for families and their precious babies.

Each family receives a certificate from the Mayor, and a First 5 Forever library pack. The celebration will conclude with morning tea.

This celebration is open to families who are residents of the Lockyer Valley or who connect with Lockyer Valley Libraries.
