Final callout for Festival of Cultures

We’re putting the final callout for this weekend’s Festival of Cultures!

Council will hold the Festival of Cultures this Sunday, 3 August from 11am – 4pm at Littleton Park, Gatton.

Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said this was so much more than an event.

“The Festival of Cultures will celebrate the heart of the Lockyer Valley’s multicultural community through amazing food, vibrant performances and family-friendly activities.

“It’s sure to be a wonderful community event and one that celebrates our diversity while we share in song, dance, rhythm and art.

“This is such a great chance to really look at inclusion, and what belonging means.

“We are a strong and resilient community, and I can’t wait to see everyone together on Sunday,” Mayor Milligan said.

The event is organised in a collaborative approach between Council and local cultural groups and organisations and is supported by the Queensland Government through the Celebrating Multicultural Queensland program.
