New season, new authors at Lockyer Valley Libraries
Lockyer Valley Libraries will welcome the change of season and two new authors to their impressive lineup in the coming weeks.
Author Renae Black’s title Second Chance Station is a new romance release and perfect for readers of Rachael Johns, Alissa Callen and Stella Quinn.
Touted a gritty, flirty and uplifting rural romance, it’s all about taking risks, overcoming the past and standing up for the people you love.

In September, Australian romance writer Janet Gover will visit the region.
As the author of 16 published novels, Janet grew up in outback Australia, surrounded by wide open spaces, horses and many books.
She’s released more than a dozen romance novels and 20 short stories since 2002. Her work has won numerous awards, and her latest title The Knitting Club at Wagtail Ridge was released earlier this year.
Her novel Little Girl Lost won the Epic Romantic Novel of the Year Award presented by the Romantic Novelists' Association in the UK, and she has won or been shortlisted for awards in Australia and the USA.

Lockyer Valley Regional Council Libraries and Galleries Portfolio Councillor Julie Reck said this was a great chance to hear about some of the latest book releases.
“Our Author Talks are an opportunity to ask questions, buy copies of the books and to get them autographed.
“It’s always great to see so many bestselling authors decide to put the Lockyer Valley on their map and pay us a visit.
“Our libraries are community hubs that bring people of all ages together for a range of free activities, including author talks, and we hope to see you there,” Cr Reck said.
