RADF funding now open for applications

Lockyer Valley Regional Council has swung open the doors to Round 1 of its 2025-26 Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF).

Council is calling for applications for the next round of RADF, a funding opportunity all about supporting our local creatives and artists.

Council’s Libraries and Galleries Portfolio Councillor, Julie Reck encouraged community groups and artists to apply.

“There are so many creatives who call the Lockyer Valley home, and this funding is all about bringing the projects many have thought about and planned for years to life.

“We are incredibly proud to be the helping hand that allows this to happen.

“These projects should also foster an engaged and creative community across all art forms, whether through song, dance, music and theatre or visual arts, craft, writing and gaming.

"I would encourage anyone who thinks they may be eligible to have a look at the guidelines and contact us with any questions.

“This funding only happens twice a calendar year, so don’t miss out,” Cr Reck said.

Projects may include programs or projects that respond to a specific opportunity or need within the arts sector, or to enhance creative festivals or events that offer quality outcomes, provide opportunities for local artists and bring residents together.

Applications can be made at www.lockyervalley.qld.gov.au/RADF and must be submitted to Council by 10am, Monday 22 September 2025.

RADF is a partnership between Lockyer Valley Regional Council and the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
