Mark the beginning of the festive season and bring your Christmas cheer to the 2025 Mayoral Christmas Carols!
It’s all about the spirit of the season and this year’s Lockyer Valley Mayoral Christmas Carols are sure to see the community jingle all the way to 25 December, 2025!
Families, friends and the whole community are invited to come along for a fun evening of Christmas carols and watch the amazing family entertainment come to life on stage, with special guest performances featured throughout the evening.
Hosted by Lockyer Valley Regional Council, the magical event is once again free to the community and will bring the joy of Christmas to life through song, dance and connection.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Mayor, Cr Tanya Milligan said the Carols were a wonderful way to unite the community at the start of the holiday season.
“We’re once again hosting the event at the Gatton Shire Hall on Saturday 29 November, in partnership with the Lockyer Valley Ministers Association.
“The Mayoral Christmas Carols are one of the highlights of my calendar and I love hosting an event for everyone to come together and enjoy the festive spirit with friends and family.
“Christmas joy is set to return at the Mayoral Christmas Carols, and we’re inviting everyone to come along and get into the spirit.
“We hope to welcome people from all over the region to sing along to all their favourites, including Joy to the World, Silent Night, Aussie 12 Days of Christmas, Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer, and Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.
“Let’s celebrate 2025 at the Lockyer Valley Mayoral Christmas Carols – I can’t wait to see you there,” Mayor Milligan said.
Kick off the festive season in style with a mix of traditional carols and fun Christmas songs performed by the Nathan Walmsley Band. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on the night, with the night beginning at 5.30pm and the stage program commencing at 6.30pm.
An Auslan Interpreter will be present on the night. Youngsters will also have a chance to enter the Christmas Carnival Colouring Competition - and write their letter to Santa before the show commences, with a designated children’s craft area in the foyer set aside for such special Christmas work!
