Apply now for Major Community Grants initiative
The next round of the Major Community Grants initiative is open for applications and Lockyer Valley Regional Council is encouraging not-for-profit community organisations to consider if they have an eligible project for this round.
Under the Major Community Grants Program, successful applicants would be in the running to share in non-recurrent grants of between $1000 and $4000.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council's Community Development Portfolio Councillor Anthony Wilson encouraged everyone to look at the funding criteria and see what sharing in Council’s funding pool could do for their group.
“The program reflects Council's commitment to fostering community development and empowering local organisations to make a positive impact.
“We want to encourage all groups to access this important funding, which provides much-needed support for the ongoing delivery of community programs.
“Be it community events to local ongoing programs and helping our business community thrive, we are investing in activities that keep our community connected, active and strong.
“The recent Community Grants recipients are doing incredible work for the community, and we look forward to seeing this list increase at the conclusion of this round,” Cr Wilson said.
