Pavement Rehabilitation Program Underway
Pavement rehabilitation works are now underway on Chadwick Road, Gatton.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council crews commenced the six-week program earlier this week, Council’s Infrastructure Portfolio Councillor, Michael Hagan said.
“These works form part of Council’s Capital Rehabilitation Program, funded by Council.
“This project is focused on improving pavement condition, visibility and overall traffic safety.
“In total, 960 metres of pavement will be rehabilitated, with the whole of the sealed section resealed.
“These much-needed enhancements will improve safety, functionality, and longevity of this important section of road corridor.
“Works will be conducted between 6am and 6pm for an approximate four-to-six-week program, weather permitting,” Cr Hagan said.
Works will be under traffic management, with delays no longer than five minutes expected.
To minimise disruption, motorists are urged to follow signage when travelling through the work zone.
