RADF funding now open for applications

The Lockyer Valley’s vibrant arts sector is set for a boost, with RADF funding now open for applications.

Lockyer Valley Regional Council has officially opened the doors to Round 3 of its 2025-26 Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) and is calling for applications.

Council’s Libraries and Galleries Portfolio Councillor, Julie Reck encouraged community groups and artists to apply.

“Our arts and culture sector continues to grow, and this is one of the ways Council, in partnership with the Queensland Government, can provide support to this important sector.

“Grants like RADF offer vital support, giving artists the freedom to pursue projects that serve the community, raise awareness, and inspire action.

“We’ve previously provided grants to initiatives including music, dance performances, art workshops, professional development activities, film and digital storytelling, art activities for children, festivals, and events.

“These grants don’t just fund projects – they sustain the artists and groups behind them,” Cr Reck said.

Projects may include programs or projects that respond to a specific opportunity or need within the arts sector, or to enhance creative festivals or events that offer quality outcomes, provide opportunities for local artists and bring residents together.

Applications can be made at www.lockyervalley.qld.gov.au/RADF and must be submitted to Council by 10am, Friday 24 April 2026.

RADF is a partnership between Lockyer Valley Regional Council and the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
