Have your say on local aquatic facilities
We’re giving residents the chance to influence the future of aquatic facilities across the Lockyer Valley.
Council has engaged LiquidBlu to undertake an Aquatic Snapshot of local aquatic facilities, and submissions are now open.
Council’s Sport and Recreation Portfolio Councillor Anthony Wilson said your voice would help Council deliver facilities relevant to you.
“Council is reviewing the region’s aquatic facilities and is inviting the community to provide feedback to help shape future planning and decision making.
“We’re really looking to zone in on what people enjoy about our facilities and what is needed.
“This information will be used to better inform future planning and decision‑making around aquatic infrastructure, access, gaps, and community needs.
“An easy way for residents to do this in through an online community survey, which is deliberately focused on facilities, experiences, and future needs, rather than operational matters.
“We want to better understand what is important to users and by engaging with them directly, we can better tailor our facilities to ensure they’re right for them, subject to any budget constraints” Cr Wilson said.
