Register now for a workshop to protect koalas
Lockyer Valley Regional Council will soon host a workshop focused on koalas.
Council’s Environment Portfolio Councillor Cheryl Steinhardt said if you’re curious about how you can help protect this much-loved animal, this workshop is for you.
“This community workshop will be packed with practical tips and expert insights from people working on the front-line of koala conservation.
“It doesn’t matter if you’re a landholder, wildlife lover or just curious about them, this workshop is a chance to learn more, connect with like-minded individuals and do your bit to help our local wildlife.
“A light morning tea and free take-home koala resource trees will be provided (while supplies last), so secure your place today.
“With koala populations already in steep decline from habitat loss and disease, these little guys need all the support they can get,” Cr Steinhardt said.
