Big names headline at this year’s Laidley Spring Festival
The Laidley Spring Festival is set to return in September and this year will feature The Wet Whistles and Bluey Live Interactive Experience!
Across three spectacular days, from 11 to 13 September 2026, Laidley and Forest Hill will transform into colourful celebrations of community, country hospitality, live entertainment, local produce, and springtime traditions.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council Tourism and Events Portfolio Councillor Julie Reck said preparations were in place to see Laidley once again come alive.
“There will be everything from our beloved street parade, twilight festivities under festoon lights, live music, markets, exhibitions, a massive Show 'n' Shine, a dedicated Spring Gardening Fair, family entertainment and authentic country experiences around every corner.
“Friday night will kick off with performances from the Rheanna Leschke Band, Maddi and the Dreamers and crowd-favourite party act ANTHEMS! Live Band, while on Saturday come along and see Bluey and Bingo for real life in the Bluey Live Interactive Experience before acclaimed Queensland country-pop outfit The Wet Whistles headline the afternoon celebrations.
“Joining them on the Saturday line-up will also be rising country-rock star Kaitlyn Thomas and crowd favourites Chloe Marks and The Mayhem.
“A packed program of children's entertainment, interactive activities, markets and community displays will be perfect for families, while gardening enthusiasts can browse the popular Spring Gardening Fair.
“Celebrations will continue on Sunday 13 September with Bee Happy Day in nearby Forest Hill, adding another vibrant community event to an already packed festival weekend.
“We’ve worked hard to secure yet another extensive line-up of names, so gather your friends, bring the family and discover why every spring the Lockyer Valley comes alive with colour, music and country hospitality,” Cr Reck said.
