New art exhibition unveiled at Lockyer Valley Art Gallery

Beyond the Brushstrokes: A Visual Collaboration is now showing at the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery.

Libraries and Galleries Portfolio Councillor Julie Reck said the newest offering at the Gallery was proudly presented by a formidable trio.

“Susan Butler, Linda Senjov and Sharon Ross have joined forces for this exhibition and it’s one we’re thrilled to have on show.

“Susan, Sharon and Linda are three emerging Queensland artists, friends and mentors and this exhibition is a celebration of the depth and diversity of artistic talent.

“Together they’re presenting an exhibition that reflects their individual artistic journey, the power of friendship and the diversity of colour and technique.

“The works really celebrate our surroundings, both natural and man-made, and invite visiting audiences to also look up and do the same.

“This exhibition furthers our Gallery’s commitment to supporting and showcasing artists from the region and I’m sure this exhibition will be enjoyed by our community,” Cr Reck said.

Beyond the Brushstrokes: A Visual Collaboration is on display at the Lockyer Valley Art Gallery, inside the Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre, Gatton, from 26 June to 16 August 2026.
