Events such as Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred highlighted the pressures faced by community groups and volunteers during recovery. While funding opportunities are often available, many organisations lack the time and capacity to prepare applications while continuing to support their communities.
Lockyer Valley Regional Council is hosting a free, hands-on Maximising Digital Tools for Community Resilience Workshop on 24 November, designed for not-for-profit organisations, community groups and volunteers. Discover practical ways to use digital tools to reduce administrative workload, strengthen grant readiness, improve governance processes and build organisational resilience.
This interactive workshop will explore how key digital tools can help:
- Reduce fatigue and burnout by streamlining writing, reporting and grant applications.
- Overcome capacity constraints by helping small teams achieve more with limited resources.
- Strengthen governance and compliance through more efficient policy, planning and documentation processes.
- Safely and responsibly use tools by understanding privacy, data protection and ethical considerations.
Participants will leave with practical tools, resources and ready-to-use prompts that can be immediately applied within their organisation to improve efficiency, strengthen resilience and support future funding and community development opportunities.
Every participant will receive key resources to use in their real-world environment.
Light catering will be provided to attendees.
