Facility Maintenance and Improvements
All sport and recreation clubs that have a lease, permit or other form of tenure with Council are to submit any facility maintenance requests via email to email@example.com. Please attach images to the email displaying the issue and location and be as descriptive as possible. Please note there is a 10MB maximum for attachments, so send multiple emails if necessary.
Council is committed to developing our sport and active recreation facilities. All sport and active recreation clubs that have a lease, permit or other form of tenure with Council must submit a Working on Council land form before starting works on the premises. If you wish to apply for a grant to assist in paying for the works, then the Working on Council land form should be submitted beforehand. It is also advisable to speak to Council’s Sport and Recreation Development Officer prior to submitting grant applications and commencing works on your premises. It is recommended that facility improvements form part of a club’s strategic plan and are planned well in advance.
You should allow at least four weeks for Council to review your application seeking landowner’s consent. Please take this into consideration when applying for funding for a project. It is the club’s responsibility to ensure that all approvals (including building approvals, plumbing approvals) are sought.
