Local History

Caffey Cemetery was established around 1910. There are approximately 100 graves located in this serene setting. Impressive old bottle trees are dotted throughout the grounds. The cemetery is still in use.

Plaques and Headstones

Approval must be obtained by Council before any plaques or headstones are installed on your loved one's grave or niche that are maintained by Lockyer Valley Regional Council. This includes any new headstones or repairs conducted. Any works should be completed by a suitably qualified person or company. The person completing the works must also supply Public Liability Insurance in case of any damages that may occur.
