Major Community Grants Program
Council's Major Community Grants Program is for non-recurrent grants between $1000 and $4000 and are available for not-for-profit community organisations to undertake projects, activities or events which benefit the wider community.
Applications are assessed on merit and the availability of funds.

To support our local groups and help build a stronger community, a total of 11 not-for-profit community organisations have been awarded grants for a variety of different projects that benefit the Lockyer Valley within the first round of the 2023-2024 financial year. Projects have ranged from purchasing equipment to help community groups operate easier, to helping fund facility upgrades and repairs.
Council's Community Grants Program awards successful applicants with non-recurrent grants of between $1000 and $4000, made available to not-for-profit community organisations to undertake projects, activities or events which benefit the wider community, depending upon availability of funds and the merit of the projects, activities or events.
