What is RADF?
The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a flexible grant fund that invests in local arts and cultural priorities, as determined by local communities across Queensland. Council's RADF program promotes the role and value of arts, culture and heritage as key drivers of diverse and inclusive communities and strong regions.
How RADF operates in the Lockyer Valley
Council's RADF Liaison Officer manages the local program in partnership with the RADF Committee which is made up of community members and two Councillors.
- Up to two funding rounds each financial year; and
- Quick response (out-of-round) grants.
These rounds are advertised through local and social media. Individuals and community groups interested in arts and culture in the Lockyer Valley are invited to make an application for funding under the Lockyer Valley Regional Council (LVRC) Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) Grant Program.
The committee considers the applications against the Program Priorities and Key Performance Outcomes and presents their recommendations to Council for approval.
You can access the current RADF Guidelines here.
Round 1 for 2023/24 will open on 1 November and close Monday, 4 December at 10am.
Round 2 will open in April 2024 and close in May.
Quick Response applications will close on 3 June 2024.
Applications will only be accepted online via SmartyGrants. Enquiries should be directed to Nicole Kilah, Coordinator Libraries and Galleries; RADF Liaison Officer, on (07) 5462 0317, or email email@example.com.
